Mancora

Mancora is not the most consistent surf spot in Peru, but it does offer several different options as far as breaks go. It can pump quite high in the winter, but you’ll still find multiple inside breaks. There is a ton of whitewash way inside for the absolute newbies, and a whole lot of empty green waves for beginner-intermediates to begin to learn to trim down the line and learn. Also, Mancora is full of coaches, surf camps, and surf schools so you’ll have no problem getting the right gear and support with your surfing.

Huanchaco

Huanchaco is the home of what we recognize as surfing today. With a rich history as the place where surfing was inventied, Huanchaco has several breaks for all levels. It’s incredibly consistent in the winter. You’ll likely not find a day without some sort of surfable wave, especially as a beginner.
