Surf Season in Chicama

Chicama can work year-round, but the winter months (April-October) are certainly the best. The SW swells come in with 90% consistency, and constant offshore wind makes these waves form beautifully. In the summer months you’ll have to wait for the right NW swell and they won’t create the long rides that make this surf spot famous around the world.
