Chicama
Chicama is a world-famous surf spot for good reason. It’s home to the longest left in the world. Out at Chicama Point, you’ll find an incredibly long left on the right days. Even when the sections don’t connect fully, there’s still plenty of fun and long rides to have in the individual sections. Especially out at Malpaso where the wave first breaks, you’ll get a solid intermediate/advanced wave that can perhaps turn into a long ride as you move through the Keys and Main Point.
Lobitos
Lobitos has a wild coastline with a bunch of little points. There are popular waves at La Punta, solid barrels at El Hueco, and a solid A-frame at Generales. There are also other breaks worth visiting, but the point is Lobitos is a solid choice for any intermediate or advanced surfer. Waves can get up to DOH in places, and breaks like Bateria which are super exposed can give a super long ride.
